Kids' Carnival

Sunday, July 19 - 10:30am to 4:00pm

Join us for a day filled with laughter, excitement, and joy for the entire family!

Venture north to the homestead for a whirlwind of fun, as you and your family test your skills at carnival games with guaranteed prizes. Prepare to be amazed and entertained by William the Conjurer at his hourly magic shows, participate in old-fashioned games, play with the always popular parachute, and visit the adorable animals from the PG Mobile Petting Zoo!

For those wanting a change of pace from the activities, you can explore the grounds at your leisure while doing the treasure hunt or just kick back and relax in the fresh air! Be sure to say hello to our chickens and rabbits.

Two Rivers Gallery will be on location with a Community Art Days: Pollinators event, which all visitors will be able to take part in! Artist-in-residence Hailey Smith will translate your present into the past: as you step into ye olde photography parlour, don some of our best frocks and get your portrait drawn by Hailey! Thanks to support from the Prince George Community Foundation and the Regional District of Fraser Fort George, you can get your snapshot of history until 3:00.

Be sure to swing by the Northern Bear Awareness Society booth where they will be providing education about bears - they'll  have real bear hides for the kids to touch! Afterwards, purchase a ticket to take a ride on the Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum's mini rail!

Bring a picnic, join in the ice cream making, learn all about making taffy, or treat yourself to something sweet from the General Store! The fun never ends at this colourful event that will appeal to child in everyone.
